Hi
I use my sat nav everyday for work but for some reason over the last few days I can't get a GPS satellite signal.
Please help.

First try update via tomtom home, it should download gpsquickfix.

if it doesn't then you may need to do a couple of things, though it would be a good idea to do a backup before you start.

first, delete all the files in the ephem folder on the device (do not delete the folder). if you connect to your computer and then use explorer (not home) to find the satnav and then delete the files in the 'ephem' folder

Then find the "ephemeris" folder on your computer and delete the files in there (not the folder)

this is the path you need for xp and vista
Windows XP: C:Documents and SettingsMy DocumentsTomTomHOMEcomplete
    Windows Vista: C:UsersDocumentsTomTomHOMEcomplete

then open tomtom home and update, it should now load quickfix.
