You are going to have to contact customer service. They will have you do a few tasks with the gps but they will finally just manually set your account up for lifetime map updates on your gps.

Saturday: 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. EST
But before you do any updates it is a very good idea to create a backup of the memory in your gps. Here is a link for that procedure.
Also never lose you activation code. You may have to use it again if something gets messed up with your account information. TomTom will not issue you another one if you lose it. So put it in a safe place.
