Can anyone tell me why according to the TomTom in my Renault Master van is saying that the A259 from Brighton Palace pier roundabout to Roedean Road is closed both ways but is actually open with no problems at all

Hi Delboy1968,

Welcome to the Community!

I take it that you're talking about a temporary closure. As these are part of the TomTom Traffic service I moved your topic to the board where these matters are discussed.

Temporary road closures can be reported straight to the Traffic team with MapShare Reporter.

Cheers, Mikko

I must say currently this works surprisingly good. Last week I reported some missing closures and they were all activated within 30 minutes. Even this morning - Sunday morning - a missing closure was activated within 15 minutes!

Hopefully this will continue; in my opninion that would be a big step forwards! :D

I really hope that is the new way of handling these things. I reported a couple of temporary closures last year and they were never implemented.
