Live Sevices not working on GO LIVE 750

For at least a week now I have no live traffic info. All I get is "There was an error on the TomTom server". My subscription is up to date, any ideas?

Oh and how do I contact "support" these days, the link just leads me here.

Thanks for that, I have gone through all the steps and I think I had somehow not logged in to my TomTom account.

Similar, and annoying, issue. Over 2000 miles in last 2 weeks from Dorset to Yorkshire and back with Yorks area touring, mostly motorway and A roads and almost no LIVE traffic feed including during off peak running. Sunday on the run home, just for the last 30 miles or so from Yeovil south did we have anything except the spinning graphic. Just not good enough whether it is a TT or Vodafone issue. Drum roll resets made no difference.

Simple question - if I upgrade to a later device does it improve live traffic coverage?

I'm experiencing the exactly the same problem. Had no service at all for last couple of days. Traffic bar just buffers of shows a yellow triangle.

Dhn as im sure you are aware, (even though you don't actually work for TT) this happens every year with live traffic services . It always works itself out in the end though, just wish it didn't. 😯

The technology is good, the back-up from TT poor. (A) they should know it isn't working and fix it (b). Post on the forums that it isn't working and (c) update to better phone coverage. No point ringing support, at customer cost, when we know the fault is using a mobile/cell phone system that is not up to the job.

We don't have any known service outages at the moment so your issues are probably related to something else. I'd first recommend you to see this FAQ [support FAQ – TomTom Traffic/LIVE services not working].

Please, post back here if the FAQ above doesn't help you sort this out so that we can look further into your issue.

@ Roger: The service coverage is the same for all our devices. However, our new devices use more recent technology, also in the server end, so you're likely to have a better experience with them. You could try it out by installing the GO Mobile app on your phone. It can be used for free for 75 kilometres per month, including TomTom Traffic and Speed Cameras.

Update - today on several short around town runs I put it on to see if LIVE was/wasn't working. Erratic coverage.

My live services miraculously started working all by itself again tonight after a long three days of no service whatsoever .lol. No real surprise really as the same thing has happened 3 years in a row to me now. One thing i have tried in the past when live services was playing up. Is turn the Tom Tom on then turn it immediately off again but keep the power button pushed down, it will restart but keep the power button pressed down untill you hear the Tom Tom drum roll. I've had to do this 2 or 3 times in a week to get my live services working before today. This may be of use to someone.
HD Traffic live service bar still showing error 1001 after 2 days no service. We are all paying for this prolonged outage ?
All other live services working normally.
Similar issue to at least 4 forum users here

Did not work. I will ring customer care or try the i stru tio s link several posts above. Two users commented on the regular outages with traffic live. Very stressful . I have a 3 hr commute thru the most notorious routes in UK for snarl ups.

it is a server error. code 1001. it is not my device as I can gather from posts above.
similar users have had to contact service desk and get their account 'adjusted'?

I have a busy work schedule. i have tried re entering my account details . updating xl home.
i am not about to waste my precious time doing a reset.

It will have to wait till I have a quiet weekday.

I will be asking for a part refund and may be switching to a new manufacturer for my next device.
I bought the GO service for my mobile phone yesterday- It works fine. Its quite confusing . I have to use my mobile for my commute which is tricky if the police catch me playing with my mobile while driving. :c
