TomTom Touch Never Pairs?


Hi, recently I noticed that the tracker started to fail to sync and was no longer getting phone and message notifications.
I removed the software, reset the device and used forget device in Bluetooth. Now the tracker fails to get picked up via Bluetooth application and My Sports fails to pick up the device? When the device worked yes good idea but see that sync'ing is problematic and others have been having issues too.
Currently using Android 6.0.1 all other Bluetooth devices work and are discovered it seem that the tracker is the problem.
Tried the old remove app from phone and factory reset of device.
Sync's fine using the USB just seems the application is flaky.

Please advise

It sounds like you tried all the recommended steps but it may be worth doing it one more time in order. If that fails your next step is to call Customer Support, who can dig in a lot deeper than we can here. The steps are: factory reset the device, uninstall the app, remove or forget the device from the phone's BT menu, reinstall the app, select Pair New on the app, select Pair New on device (plug it in and slide down to the BT Icon) and follow the prompts on the phone. You should not be pairing the device first through the phone's BT menu; it is all done through the app and you must have the phone forget the device in the BT menu before re-pairing.

To get the number for Customer Support, go to http://tomtom.com/support, choose Contact, enter the product name and click Phone Us. It will give you the phone number for the country your account is registered under (this can be changed by clicking the flag icon in the bottom right corner of the screen).

Thanks, managed to get the tracker added in the app. Sure in the past I could see the device in Bluetooth. The device was visible yesterday so something has changed?
Whilst the tracker is now re-added I have added permissons in the app yet tracker not picking that notification up?
Also All day heart rate in device settings greyed out and phone notifications yet permission added?

Phone just went too and no notifications on tracker?
Please advise, so far not overly impressed and feel made a bad purchase here 😞 as overall app and battery life seems poor too.
Was considering the TomTom runner but so far first impressions are not great and not sure I would'nt recommend this to family and friends and may need to write an overall review on this product online as other trackers that are lower price seem easier to manage and have better functionality.
