Question: TomTom Go mobile app iOS Arrival time now exactly 1 hour late

Hi All

I updated my TomTom Go app on two IOS devices and now my arrival times are one hour ahead.

After noticing this I deleted the app on both my iPhone and iPad.

Re-loaded the app on both devices and all was well correct arrival times shown. Yippee I was happy

Re-loaded the August 2017 update on both and now the arrival time is exactly one hour out.

I have selected the fastest route, driving, etc.

Please help.

    The arrival time has started becoming 1 hour late using TomTom Go on IOS for my iPhone SE. Eg Time 5.10pm Travel time 15 min. Arrival time is stated as 7.25 pm not 6.25. Time set to automatic on IOS.

    Weird...

    Any fix?

    Hi dmaxman,

    Is this using the Australian map? If it, is are you crossing any time zones?
    BTW, is Daylight Saving Time (DST) in effect in some territories? If so, do all territories use DST?

    Where are you trying to route from and to?

    Now that TomTom have announced that the original iOS app will be unsupported after September 2017, we need to give them constructive feedback for them to improve the GO Mobile app. It’s TomTom’s choice as to whether they improve the iOS GO Mobile app – as is our prerogative to look for alterative apps in case they don’t!

    I have this issue as well of arrive time +1hr. Have spent some time checking setup however looks ok, would appreciate some direction thks

    Hi all,

    Unfortunately, there seems to be an issue with the latest app version causing this for Australian and New Zealand users. Please, follow the steps below to sort this out:
    • In the iPhone settings, go to ‘iCloud’
    • Go to ‘iCloud Drive’
    • Scroll to find the specific app and toggle the app to ‘Off’
    • Now, uninstall the app by ‘Tap and hold’ the app icon till it starts shaking and click the ‘x’ in the top right corner of the icon
    • In the iPhone settings, go to ‘iCloud’
    • Toggle 'iCloud Drive' Off.
    • Once done please reinstall and test.

    @MikkoK, can you clarify your instructions, please? In the iCloud settings, there is only and on or off switch for iCloud Drive. There are no further sub menus. There is also no on/off switch for just iCloud.

    I believe the iCloud Drive is indeed meant. I'll check that and get back to you about it.

    I have all the same issue in Australia with recent updates. ETA 1 hour later, no 2D views.
    Have followed previous reinstall instruction to no avail.

    Overall a poor performing "upgrade" from old app made less functional with recent new "upgrade".

    DO NOT DELETE THE APP, as instructed, unless you're happy to loose ALL your saved places etc.

    TomTom acknowledge that it's an app issue so uninstalling the reinstalling quill not fix it. Believe me, I've tried and lost all my saved places.

    Yes. This is happening to me also in Australia. I thought that I would be patient and that it would just get fixed with an update. What's going on? This is very frustrating. I did follow the instructions above and to no avail. On top of that I lost all the information of places on my phone.
