Seems like "10.3 beta version 3" fixed the problem: https://en.discussions.tomtom.com/tomtom-go-mobile-and-navigation-for-iphoneipad-29/address-search-crashing-the-ios-app-on-ios-103-beta-1018480?postid=1148969

Hi Alain,

Welcome to the Community!

We don't support beta versions of OSs. Some problems - yours included - with the iOS 10.3 beta have already been reported here and the product team is looking into these. However, iOS 10.3 will be supported only after it's been released to the public.

Cheers, Mikko

Hi Maendly,

Welcome to the Community!

I'd recommend you to re-install the app.

Should this not help you sort this out, please, describe your issue in a bit more detail so that we can better help you. In which situation does the app crash? Does it happen every time or just sometimes? Can you see a pattern in the behaviour?

Thanks, Mikko
re-install App TomTom Go mobile v1.7, on my iPhone 7 (model A1778 iOS 10.2.1)
same problem
after install it ask to download one map, then after
every time i start App, it say "loading app", for 3 seconds, then try to display map and instantly crashes (see print screen just before crash)

Hi Maendly,

Could you try if switching your phone to English helps? This would help us narrow down the cause of your crashes.

Thanks, Mikko
I do not know how to change the language without reinstalling completely iOS ?

For your information, I have a friend who also uses a device in French with TomTom without any problem. Its configuration is: iPhone 6+ iOS 10.2.1 (14D27) model A1524, TomTom 1.7

I've the same problem, I don't find a solution on this forums. I contact the TomTom support and they cannot help as well.

The support is certainly done by people who doesn't have more knowlegde than us and just follow step on a knowledge article.

There is a lot of discussion about such behavior on the internet but TomTom doesn't seems to take this into real consideration.
I have not been able to get the TomTom Go App to work at all on my iPhone 7. I have tried uninstalling the App, then logging out of iTunes, restarting the phone, logging back into iTunes and downloading the App again. None of these measures have worked. The App just crashes on start up informing me that it cannot connect to the Internet. I have in desperation tried everything I could think off. Nothing works. What really annoys me is that I had been forced to upgrade from a perfectly serviceable App, by TomTom with the carrot of three years free navigation. Now I have an Application I paid for a subscription that is un usable and have been forced into trying other Navigation Apps, asI do actually require to navigate places.

TomTom support completely mute about the issue, and no update or apology.

Come on chaps Other Application developers have done whatever is necessary to get their Apps to work on the iPhone 7, why can you not do so?

This is not the first time an Upgrade has caught you out. I am very disappointed and my loyalty to the TomTom brand is being sorely tested.

Can we expect to have a working Application any time soon?

The iPhone 7 has now been available for over 7 months.
