Question

Rattle rattle!

I've had my Bandit camera a week now, and I have a few problems like absolutely terrible wind noise, no WiFi connection AT ALL with my phone (Moto G4) & a horrible editing experience on a Samsung tab-S, but the most annoying one is a rattling sound when it's mounted to my bike handlebars.
I've seen it mentioned elsewhere by people who found it's caused by the plastic casing rattling inside the metal 'rotation ring', but mine is not caused by that. It's the little black bits you squeeze to fit or remove the camera from the mount. They rattle up and down.
I've contacted customer support and have been told to expect an anti-rattle device of some sort in the post but by the sounds of it, it's designed to cure the rattling caused by the metal rotation ring being too big, and is nothing to do with the black squeezy mounting clips.
Any advice will be gratefully received, before the whole thing goes back to the shop.

Hi Orby1,

Welcome to the Community & sorry about my late reply!

Did you already sort this one out? I can see that you Bandit camera has now the latest software installed on it and you already contacted Customer support to get the anti-rotation clip & mic shield.

Hi Lampard,
I have the same rattle noise. Is there a anti-rotation clip? How does it work and how can I get one?
Thanks,
Francisco

Hi Francisco,

As the Bandit camera can rotate allowing mounting at multiple angles, we noticed that if the Bandit suffered some form of impact it could change the orientation. To counter this we developed a clip to lock the Bandit so it wouldn't change the way it was rotated during use.

Please get in touch with the customer support and they'll be able to help you with this request. You can click on the 'Contact us' option at the bottom of this page to Phone/Email them.

Cheers, lampard
