Hi All,

Ive recently got back from my snowboard holiday were I used my watch for 6 days worth of snowbording.

The hotel wifi was dreadful and kept consistently dropping connection all the time. With this in mind, I never did get chance whilst I was there to upload my activity from my watch onto my tomtom sports app (i always do so via bluetooth onto the app on my iphone & never bothered doing it via computer etc!)....

I did try after day 2 or 3 to sync some activity with
my watch and I think it may of got to 5% or so, and then
the wifi dropped out again (annoyingly!!!!)

I'm aware the watch will store / remember all activitys until it reaches its full memory capacity and will alert you in advance anyway. At this point, its worh pointing out that the storage bit on my watch (when I press the down button and go to 'about', currently shows 2/5 bars on the watch which is what i expected, as there's a good 6 days worth of snowboarding activity on there that needs to be uploaded onto the app!

The issue i'm having is that the app seems to show the spinning arrows going around and around, saying "please wait whilat your watch is syncing". It seems to do this everytime and very slowly it gets to a maximum of 5% then just stops everytime, followed by an immediate red error message that reads:

"Oops, some activities haven't been uploaded. Please try
to sync the watch again"

Looking at some trouble shooting tips through google, i have already tried closing down the app on my phone and restarting it (and) turned OFF syncing on the watch itself then turned it back on again then loaded the app back up again & tried again.....
But both to no avail.

Can anyone give me
Any workarounds tomget this info onto my app once & for all.
If its of any use to anybody, i'm using the new tomtom adventurer watch with software version 1.3.204 and quick gps is also enabled.

Many Thanks,

Si,

Scrap that, ive worked out how to do it (by downloading the software from the www.tomtom.com/123) website and following the set up guide.

Ive just re-checked my app and all the activities are now showing on there! :0)

Your best bet is to plug it into your computer and sync this way, which is faster and more reliable. There may be bad data on the watch that is preventing the upload or it may be that you do not have a good Internet connection or the TT servers were down temporarily (they seem to be down for awhile on Saturday afternoon I got the same message on the PC but hey eventually uploaded after waiting a while and trying a few times). You can keep trying to sync through the app when you have a strong WiFi connection. It will retain them until you factory reset the watch so you will not lose any data until then (unless you fill it but it can hold many dozen hours of activities so you should be fine there).

If it still won't work, you may want to give Customer Support a call who can check if it is an account or server issue. To get the number for Customer Support, go to tomtom.com/support, choose Contact, enter the product name and click Phone Us. It will give you the phone number for the country your account is registered under (this can be changed by clicking the flag icon in the bottom right corner of the screen).

I hope this helped answer your question. If so, please mark it as a solution so others can look for it if they have the same question.

Many thanks for taking the time in coming back to me. If i plug my watch into my laptop via the usb charging cable.... what exactly happens? Do i open the relevant folder and look for a certain file? I'm just trying to work out....

    A) how do i sync my watch via my computer

    B) like the watch (via wifi + bluetooth) it will simutaneously sync to the app...... so how would my laptop does the same thing?

    C) what file(s) do I need to look out for, and what exactly do I need to do to action all of this (to sync all the data into my tomtom app on my iphone) ?
