A few weeks ago I bought the new TomTom Adventurer, and I've been very happy with it. Trail running is becomming my new addiction! :-)
My question is, is it possible to show the direction of the path that is shown on the screen of the Adventurer? Sometimes, when getting off track, it can be hard to find the right direction so it would be helpfull if the direction of the path would be implemented. My running buddy uses a Garmin and he is able to see. Am I missing a setting? If not, it would be a great update!
Thanks for any help/reply.

I saw that it is possible to use a rotating or non rotating map. However, in my opinion, this isn't helpfull in all cases of being 'lost'.

I hope a setting will be implemented to turn on/off small direction pointers on the path some day. It would make a great product even better :-)

If you are lost you can zoom the map out and it will show you what direction you need to go to get back to the trail. I am not sure what else they can implement for this.

I hope this helped answer your question. If so, please mark it as a solution so others can look for it if they have the same question.

You can go into the activity start screen, press down and select Rotation On or Off. On will make it so the top of the watch is always pointing ahead on the trail (the direction you are going is up). Off will have North up at all times (so it will show the trail relative to North at the top of the screen).
