Hi,

Today I bought the TomTom Adventurer and did my first run this evening. I chose the Adventurer because of the option to upload a .gpx route. I was wondering if the watch gives some kind of alert when I get off the preloaded track. I did not notice anything, but maybe that is because I used the Run activity, not the Trail activity.

Is there a way to make it buzz or beep when I loose the track?

No, it just shows you the track with an arrow showing your position on it. You need to keep an eye on it and have some idea of where you are going. I agree a notification would be great but I wonder if there is any technical limit to it (seems like there wouldn't be). They have pretty responsive on the trails mode, adding more zoom levels and the ability to pick the rotation view, so hopefully they will add something along these lines as well. In any case, TomTom will not comment on planned or future updates publicly (here or elsewhere) so we will just have to wait and see.

I hope this helped answer your question. If so, please mark it as a solution so others can look for it if they have the same question.

I think this would be a good feature as well. A couple of buzzes if off course would be great and that would be enough, incase you intend to change the route.
