Hi all,

We've just released a new v6.0 of the TomTom Sports app for Android and it's available for download in the Google PlayStore. The iPhone version will be out soon as well :D

What's new?

• You can now configure the first day of the week using the TomTom Sports app. You can find this setting by going to the Manage tab, then Edit profile. Changing the first day of the week re-calculates all your Goals, Trends and Progress graph calculations. When you sync your compatible Sports device (see below), the new setting is applied to your TomTom Sports device.
Tip: You can also set the first day of the week in your settings on the Sports website.
Compatible devices:
o TomTom Sports website and TomTom Sports App
o All TomTom Activity Trackers
o TomTom Runner 3, TomTom Spark 3, TomTom Adventurer*
o TomTom Runner 2, TomTom Spark*
* For now you can only sync the setting for the first day of the week to these devices using the TomTom Sports Connect desktop app.
• You can now also import your weight from Google Fit (Android) or Apple Health (iOS).
• Peer comparisons
You can now compare your running and cycling activities with people of your age, gender and activity level in TomTom Sports. Every run or cycle you record gives you insights into how it compares to your peers, so you can monitor your performance and improvement over time.
Note: We need your permission for this feature to work. You are asked to grant permission when you open the 7.0 Sports app. Peer comparisons are available in the TomTom Sports mobile app.

Happy sporting! :D

Cheers, Mikko

    Hello.

I don't quite understand how this works. I cannot see neither on the Sports Mobile app (android) neither in Mysports site or in any menu or option that leads to comparing any result to other people.

I did approved the permission for this feature to work.

Current Mysports mobile app 6.0.1 Version 521

When you go into view an activity, scroll all the way to the bottom and there will be a black box with various comparisons in it like "When running less than 10 mi. men your age average 10:31 mins/mi." You will only see it for running an cycling activities that use GPS. It is in the activity summary itself, not on the Latest tab or the Activities tab.

Reading (but still not writing... *sigh* )weight from Apple Health only starts working and appearing as an option in Apple Health Sources->Sports settings, if I first disable Apple Health as a connected app (in the Tomtom Sports app) and then re-enable. Luckily I know to try these things, being a geek. I doubt some non-geek users would.

I have BIG problem with viewing my activities in appliction after upload from watch. I have to turn on "Only Wifi" and then activities are upload to server, and I see it in Sports.

    P.S.
    Galaxy S8, android 7.0
    Previous version works fine
