TomTom Multisport frustration - re-upload edited swim

Hi, I did a swim today and surprise surprise TomTom watch stuffed it up. I am quite frustrated with this watch and rarely use it, I am forced to while I wait for my new Garmin 920xt. I've done half a dozen swims and every time the watch stuffs up the laps. I'm just swimming laps freestyle, the old Garmin 910xt could quite happily count my laps, TomTom messes it up every time. So I download the Fit file from TomTom Mysports, edit it at http://www.swimmingwatchtools.com to join all the falsely detected laps, get it look nice, save the new file, delete the one from MySports, THEN FIND I CAN"T UPLOAD THE NEW FILE! There must be a way. How?

It also blatently refuses to connect via Bluetooth to my phone. What a piece of junk

I doubt very much that you can send it to anyone, but try calling Customer Support. To link back to MapMyRun just go into the Apps & Exporting tab in MySports, where you can select the service to upload to or the file type to export. Enter your credentials for any site selected and it will upload whenever you sync (by app or PC) go forward.

To get the number for Customer Support, go to http://tomtom.com/support, choose Contact at the bottom, select the service required and the product name and click Contact Customer Care and then Phone Us. It will give you the phone number for the country your account is registered under (this can be changed by clicking the flag icon in the bottom right corner of the screen).

I imagine this is not what you were hoping to hear but let me know if this answered your question. If it did, please mark it as a solution so other can look for it if they have the same question.

You can only upload directly from the watch, there is no way to import a fit file into MySports, unfortunately. You are limited to the editing allowed on MySports, you cannot use a third party editor and then re-import it.

To whom can I email my file so TomTom support can upload it? I accepted some question about disassociation of MySports from Mapmyrun a few weeks ago, nowhere did it say that when I did that I was going to lose basic functionality. If that is going to be the outcome I'd like to reestablish the Mapmyrun link.
