Have lost the screen picture completely still faint glow from screen so power there. When I turn on and off 1 bright flash followed by dark glowing screen have plugged into pc and does not see the satnav. Have tried charging / resetting / card in and out etc nothing seems to make a difference.  device is just over 12 months old  any ideas?

    Hi

     

    I have the same problem. Started with returning from France.  Started my Urban rider and I could see the map but not get a route.   GPS ws working.

     

    When I got back i carried out a restore.  When I started the Rider I got the logo, and thena blank white screen.

     

    I've tried a reset, downloaded updates, reset again, but no result.  I now await ToTom support's suggestions.

    So I am not the only one with a blank screen!!!! How do we fix it????

    It can be caused by many things: software issue, too cold, too hot, drop, dead screen, dislocated flat cable.

    No you are not, my wife has a 6 month old XL, ( new slim shape) and when switching on, all I get is a 'glowing' screen, when switching off I get a bing-bong   I really want to get over this issue, OH HOW can I get this to work???????
