Hi all

@VikramK gives an answer here:

The map release was scheduled in this week but due to some reason it has been delayed.

The plan is to release it in the next week.

I will announce it on the community once I have an update.

Vikram 🙂

No May update this year? Le sigh. 😑

When will the next updates be released

Noticed two things on that version. TomTom Trafick services became available in Lithuania (undocumented feature 🙂 and very many error related to speed limits, turning directions etc.

This update has wiped out the majority of fixed speed cameras, speed restrictions etc on my TomTom 6000.
Please fix this ASAP!!
I wondered whether this map update also contains a software update? My Tom Tom Go 820 appeared to go through two updates - one which left it without any maps, followed by the map update. It also appears to now be planning routes faster than before - though that's very much my subjective impression and could be wishful thinking!

Hello all

We have released new map v10.05 for the GO mobile apps.

The new map version is now also available for download for the Uconnect devices( Serial number starting with TP)

I have updated the announcement above.

Thank you
Hi TomTom,
two annoying problems with this map:

1) roundabout zooming is now 0% (option is acgivated as usual)
2) even if I use a computer voice for the first time all German street are awfully pronunciated: a mixuture between English and German. It is unlistenable.
(option read in original language is activated)

See here:

1) Uninstall TomTom Home
2) Download last "good" version from
3) Install it without running ie, uncheck the 'Run Home' tick box when installation completes
4) Using Windows Explorer, navigate to
C:\Program Files\TomTom HOME 2\xul (32 bit Windows)
C:\Program Files (x86)\TomTom HOME 2\xul (64 bit Windows)
and find application.ini file
5) Edit application.ini file (you might need admin privileges) and modify "Version=" to "Version="
6) Run TomTom Home. It will believe to be running latest version and therefore not pull the update.
Saw that, when I went to update my Go730..and download was successful.
Probably one of the last before the Go730 is No longer supported.
Noticed that when connected to TT Home.. can longer 'Operate My Go' from the menu..!
Looking at their Go620 promo....
Well about the new updates. First the mydrive connect was crashing and still is. I got it to work and updated to the 1005 then went for a drive and the maps crash when i was driving good thing i had some one with me that knew the area we were in. this was also happening on the mobile app till they updated it. For the money i paid for this thing could have just use the Google app i have on my cell which also gives me speed cameras updates connected to another app and i can answer it using speaker when driving. Should test your updates before releasing them. Thinking about just using my google app as it gives me a quicker answer and also works compared to Tom Tom. most of the times you try to find a place on tom tom it can't find the place even when i copy the address from Google and paste it to the tom tom app. What a shame. and this is the third Tom tom device i have. don't think i will buy another one. Anyhow life goes on.

TomTom - your software team need to go back to school. This is utterly dreadful. The last two updates have been a 100% failure!

"No Map Available - You need to add at least one map before you can use your device"

Plus its claiming I have no wireless networks in range, which is incorrect.

USB plugged in - Selected UK. "Oops something went wrong".

Do you guys even test before releasing? Why must I now spend my time trying to work out how to restore my TomTom?

No, it is not.
Is it possible to store partly in-system, partly on-card?

System has 579.02 MB used, 6468.33 available, total 7047.35
Card has 7076.69 MB used, 303.78 available, total 7380.47

New map is 7443.53. It would fit easily if you could select which part goes where. Is that possible?

Installed the new maps version 10.05 and like every other version that has come before it SOMEHOW it has done nothing but create problems. Fixed speed cameras on my daily route to work have disappeared, speed limits that were incorrect are still incorrect, roads that have been changed for months on end are still not available. All this on my daily route. Hate to think what is going on in the entire world network

I don't know how you manage to survive Tom Tom because you would have to be the most inept organisation I have ever had to deal with. I am so regretting spending my hard earned cash on your product.

Can't wait for your next stuff up - I mean update.
Installed the new maps, and the route doesn't show.

Soft reset ineffective, only restored by performing factory reset.

How about an update without ANY issues for a change?
Installed Canada+Northern US 10.05 map last night on my rusty old 2GB XL IQ Routes (serial starting with "RU"). No issues updating, seems to be running fine.

I see that it finally includes a new bypass in town which opened back in June 2017, so it'll be great to have it taking advantage of that route. (Oddly, the Map Share Reporter hasn't been updated to include the bypass, my "Add Street" report from August is still "pending". Map Share report ID is 3221f312-06f9-4050-8444-76920e8e0304.)

What about me ?? I have a Tomtom Start 25 - and a Lifetime Map.
I´ve just tried to update mig GPS with new version 10.05 - it ended up saying der is no card on the unit ???????
Please help

You need to purchase a 8GB or 16GB Micro SDHC memory card class 6 or above
I use 16GB cards Class 10
Scandisk cards work well and seem suited to the Tomtom PNDs
Format the card in the Tomtom device before installing your Map/s

that didn't go smoothly. after updating mydrive, it started to download and install.
at 97% gps (go 6000) tells there are no maps on the memory card and installation failed.
so exit the mydrive app, restart computer, start mydrive and ... the rest of the installation started and after a minute or 2 maps are back on gps and it's the new version too.

first time for me that that happened when installing new maps

I tried to install the map, but first it gives options 1) choose a map without buildings 2) uninstall content in the device like voices for example. After choosing the appropriate option it remains indefinitely waiting for the device but nothing more happens.
