I've got a similar problem with a GO 6000 - after updating to iOS Yosemite, Tomtom Mydrive will not connect.Have tried restarting my MacBook, GO 6000, Mydrive, etc. with no luck.

MySports Connect shoud work with Mac OS X Yosemite. It does for me here on our MacBook Pro 13". And that's what our engineers tested.

Before upgrading the OS I quit all applications including MySports Connect.

Try a full uninstall including the Library entries. Be sure to follow the link to the activities folders on your Mac and duplicate the folder with your watch name (cmd+D). To go to the Library folder switch to Finder and choose 'Go' > 'Go to Folder...' in the menu bar. Then type ~/Library/Application Support/TomTom/. The folder to remove is named 'MySportsConnect'. Or even better, remove the entire TomTom folder.

    Edit: Corrected path

Though MySports Connect and MyDrive Connect look quite similar they are not so we can't really compare them if it comes to compatibility.

If your watch is no longer recognised after upgrading to Mac OS X Yosemite, first make sure you have version 1.6.1installed (click the watch in the menu bar and choose Settings). If that is the case I recommend doing a clean install of MySports Connect as explained https://discussions.tomtom.com/t5/MySports-Connect/No-connection-after-OS-X-Yosemite-update/m-p/930945#M859" target="_self.

I have a Multi-Sport Cardio v1.8.25. After re-installing the software and I connect the watch the app starts to download maybe 5 to 10% before terminating.  When I check the activities folder there are "Unknown activities" at the bottom which include my download attempts.  Have I missed something?

Some details and extra questions if I may.  What do you mean by complete uninstall?  Is it the instruction that follow?  How do you quit the app when it runs in the background?  I have duplicated the activities folder and effectively removed the tomtom folder in the library by renaming it.  Thanks.

To exit MySports Connect click the watch icon in the menu bar at the top of the screen and choose "Exit".

When you've already followed the steps for a 'clean' reinstallation of MySports Connect including the Library entries then there is a good chance that the MySports Connect settings are corrupt. These are stored on the watch. I'm afraid the activities are lost even if you see summaries in the history on the watch. Best at this point is to https://uk.support.tomtom.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/17393/#recovery-mode" target="_self (so that MySports Connect no longer crashes) and then choose "Factory reset" (choosing "Reset" will leave the corrupted settings on the watch and not resolve your issue).

It sounds like it needs a certain amount of free space to install, which you don't have available.  This is pretty common with all programs, they need more space to install than they actually use as they install files during the process and then remove them after.  I had the same issue with the latest iPhone update.  I had to remove files to install the update and once it was done I had tons of extra space.
