Hi Melroy,

Welcome to the Community!

Thanks for helping us improve our maps! I checked your reports and see that they're being worked on. Many of the still require more information the team is gathering so it's hard to say at this point when these could be solved.

Cheers, Mikko

Hmm. Ok. Seems like a very slow process considering Google Maps have had the correct information for ages. Sort of renders my TomTom useless and doesn't make the prospect of buying anything from you in the future very appealing.

Hi melroy87,

The reports focused around turn restrictions are all marked for additional source requirements. So in that light, I'll be sure to forward the links you provided to speed the process along.

As far as the other reports, focused on speed limits go, they can often have a longer turn-around time, so I'm afraid I cannot give any estimation as to when they will be closed.

Kind Regards,
Robbie
Any further update on this? It's been another month with no change. Surely those links provide all the information you need? Or you could just send someone to look for themselves if they're not good enough for some reason.
Or you can just ignore me and block me from posting i suppose.

Hi melroy87,

I'm afraid there is no new information on this topic. My apologies for the inconvenience.

Note that as I said in my previous statements, these things can take quite some time, and at the very least, it would be best to review the status after the impending map update, due in a few weeks.

Kind Regards,
Robbie
OK. I'll wait to see what the map update brings but I'm not holding my breath as I doubt they'll make it onto it if they're still marked as pending. It seems pointless to have a mapping service that can't respond to changes within a month. I can understand that you can't monitor changes to all roads at all times but when you're told about the changes and sent evidence of them I don't see why you can't just act on it. I think I'll have to try a different provider in future as this is a complete waste of money.
Hi and this is somewhat sort or related. I travel about 60k miles every year in mostly Europe. My old TOMTOM had a feature to notify a road change/update/closed or blocked road. One just tapped the screen and it was "saved" and when I updated the tomtom it was downloaded to your server. The 6200 seems to be void of this feature, so although I am receiving map updates via wi-fi, the many road changes I see over a year I just cant update? I travelled in Italy for a few miles in JULY on a new stretch of TOLL ROAD whilst the sat nav had me driving across a field. I actually stopped to try and notify this on my satnav but nothing was anything close in the menu relating to ROAD-UPDATE, blocked road yes but that's just not true. likewise ONE-WAY roads, the Italians seem to change road directions on a whim and then there are new roundabouts, Help please?:(

Hi Via, you can report errors using your 6200. Tap and hold on any location on the map, tap the 3-dots button and choose 'Report map correction' or something similar. With this, you can also report wrong one-way roads.
ahhh, yes found hat but actually it states REPORT MAP CHANGE, the sub menu says everything other than map error.
1] Road restriction
2] Speed Limit
3] Street Name
4] Turn restriction

All I need to do is state MAP error, that is not an option. So, a new roundabout, a new junction and new road are not within that menu! My old sat nav had this and frankly was a simple way to notify a change.

That's correct. For those items you need to use the online Map Share Reporter tool.
huh, the mains lead wont stretch that far! Please provide he link for how this works!

And here the manual: https://en.discussions.tomtom.com/map-quality-75/faq-how-can-i-report-map-errors-1014226.
I have look at this and I see little relevance to it being of any use when on the road when using ones TT6200. There is a REPORT speed camera icon on the TT6200 but nothing that simply allows one to log a map error. Thanks for the info but in the scheme of things one tap to report a MAP ERROR would clearly be a simpler more prompt method to notify TT of where there is a "change" or update required. The current process require THREE different actions from the TT6200 screen, very time consuming, cumbersome and none of the menus actually list any relevant info for the issues especially for "NEW ROAD" "NEW ROAD-ABOUT", "NEW JUNCTION layout". I could I suppose use ROAD BLOCKED,, TURN RESTRICTION, STREET NAME, SPEED LIMIT or ROAD RESTRICTION, now that really provides accurate info for map updates!
