Mapshare Reporter - correction entered to add our street, Status = Accepted

Hi TomTom,

Due to large vehicles having accidents, due to their TomTom's directing them to a unclassified road instead of our street - as our street was not showing on the TomTom maps. Due to this, I submitted a Map Share correction on the 8 Apr 2018 18:26;

id 7aac1c42-9ba8-4c6b-ba9c-68a6364f4f1c

My map share add street now has a Status = Accepted

Yet, the correction is still not appearing on my TomTom, nor does it appear on your own online route planner? https://mydrive.tomtom.com/en_gb/

Can you give me some indication when this correction will appear in your device maps and online route planner please.

Many thanks

@JamWales

Though not a TT employee, I can say that the addition of a new road is unlikely to appear before version 1025 due for release in November 😞

But with the new map base for the route-planner, it might appear there sooner 🙂

But staffer @MvanAken can confirm

Hi Niall,

Many thanks for your reply and info.

Not great news, as until the correction appears, large vehicles will continue to be directed to an unclassified road by their TomTom's.

thanks

Hi TomTom,

I See that my Accepted map correction is still not appearing - a good 8 months or so since submitting it - crazy! Plus, as I submitted this correction over 6 months ago, I can't see it any more on Map Share Reporter!

When can I expect the correction to be applied?

Regards

Hi, @JamWales

If you go into MapShareReporter, you will find a link called "Filter by"!

Click on that & change the Submission Start Date (do this by Clicking the Drop-Down & then scrolling through the offered Calender & selecting - DON'T try to change the Date Manually) to a Date up to 12 months ago. Click "Done" & it should then display your earlier Submissions!
Hi John-Jay,

Apologies for the delay in replying - yes, that worked a treat thanks, I've found my "Add Street" request, which I raised on 8th April 2018. It says it has the status of "Fixed" (The next map release will contain your Map Report change.) - but 7 months on, it still fails to find the postcode in question via my PC on;

https://mydrive.tomtom.com/en_gb/

Am I missing something? If not, accepted map updates are clearly taking too long to be applied by TomTom?

Many thanks

Jamie
