Tomtom World 2050


I bought Tomtom World 2050 several years ago & & account iwas registered in UK.
The device was always wrongly detected as Tomtom Go 1005 when
connected with MyConnect. Will this be an issue?

I will be travelling to New Zealand during the end of November.
I want to buy an new update for New Zealand Map in Singapore.
As my account was regsitered in UK, I cannot proceed to purchase.
I will need to create a new account in Singapore.

My question is will my Tomtom World 2050 continue to get my lifetime update for SEA when I create the new Singapore account for the New Zealand Map update.
Can anyone from Tomtom please kindly help me with this matter.

With the first two characters of the serial number:- in SE Asia

"SA">GO LIVE 1050 / GO LIVE 2050, 4GB, MyDrive Connect NAV3
"SB">GO LIVE 1050 / GO LIVE 2050, 2GB, MyDrive Connect NAV3 Eol
"SE">GO 1050 / GO LIVE 1050 / GO LIVE 2050, 4GB, MyDrive Connect NAV3
"SI">GO LIVE 1050 / GO LIVE 2050 / LIVE 2050 World, 8GB + micro-SDHC, MyDrive Connect NAV3
"SP">GO LIVE 1050 / GO LIVE 2050, 8GB, MyDrive Connect NAV3
"ST">GO LIVE 1005 / Camper & Caravan / GO LIVE 2050 World, 8GB + micro-SDHC, MyDrive Connect NAV3

in Europe

As long as your serial number does not start with "SB" (obsolete) then contact contact customer services to adjust your account so that you can get the map you want from the appropriate TT map shop

As my account was registered in UK, therefore there my TomTom GO 2050 World has a Serial No:SQ4422H00028.

Is there any difference between GO1005 and GO2050 World?
I tried calling the number 18006227266 but it was not more in use.

I need to create a new account in Singapore in order to purchase the New Zealand Map Update. My existing account is for SEA Map Lifetime Update and with the new account for the New Zealand Map Update, will TomTom stopped sending me the SEA Map Lifetime Update?

Please get in touch with our Australian customer support as they also handle the queries from other Asia Pacific countries. You can either drop them an email or call them directly to make the necessary changes to your account.

Also, any new map purchase won't affect the lifetime subscription of your South East Asia map and you'll continue to get further updates.
