Update failed several times VIA 1625 M

I have a VIA 1625 M navigation device. I have tried several times to update the maps and after several hours I get the message "Update failed" "contact customer support" but there is really nobody to contact and the faqs do not cover this subject.

What do I do? I think I will switch to Garmin.
