After trying to download a special route from TomTom Home imagine my surprise when trying to get backup help to be told that TomTom only provides minimal support for my device. I am shocked by this as I pay £43 per annum for golive and full Europe updates, needless to say I will pay no more and go elsewhere.

    Hi Ian,

    Welcome to the Community and sorry for my late reply here!

    Unfortunately, we've indeed had to drop some of our oldest models out of support to be able to concentrate on the new models and keep up with the market. This also included reducing some of the functionality of TomTom HOME as we can no longer keep maintaining them. For more information about this, please see here.

    Your device will of course keep working normally and you can use your remaining services until they expire. I'd recommend you to check out the offer we've sent you and consider one of our newer models going forward. They, for instance, come with Lifetime World Maps and Lifetime TomTom Traffic and Speed Cameras saving you quite a bit in the annual costs you've spent on your GO LIVE 750.

    I forgot to add that I am currently recovering from treatment for cancer and was therefore trying to download the route someone had posted for Bakewell as it has always been on my bucket list to complete this tour,

    Hi Ian,

    I'm sorry to hear of your illness and hope your recovery goes well!

    We've send an email offer to all customers affected by this change. I'd recommend you to check your spam folder. Please, also double check whether your device is affect as only the GO 750 model with serial number starting with W8 is on the list (see FAQ I linked to above).

    You're anyway entitled to a loyalty discount and Customer Service can help you with that :D
