My GO 910 is backed up with TomTom Home on a Mac running OSX 10.6.8.

My new virus checker finds 3 locked files with viruses

autorun.inf with W32.Perlovga-1

copy.exe with Trojan.Small-4214

host.exe with Trojan.Dropper-...

If I delete them they reappear when I next back up the GO910.

Are they a problem?

These are not viruses, do not delete them. your virus scanner is indicating a false positive. These are files in the Go910 that are suppose to be there.  You virus protection should have the ability to mark these files ok.
