GO 620 and software update

I just buy a 620 in USA, i make the installation and the updates with the Wifi. After verification, i see that the version of the software is 10.1 but the actual version is 10.3. Is it normal or there is a problem?

I think the actual software version is 17.3 now. When you go to Menu-->Updates-->is a newer software version offered?

I would like to clarify that, the software version of each ranges of devices are different and this is the reason, you will see a different range of the software numbers on different devices.
Please note that, the software or the application update of the device is provided automatically for all devices as per the category and at present the application version 17.100.0022.411 is the latest for the GO devices.
So, I request you to consider this email as a confirmation that the application or the software of your device is up to date and whenever the new application update is released globally, it will be automatically offered on the device.
I am sure above information will be helpful and will clear all your doubts.

I understand that this is not the same version in USA and in Europe.

It is indeed strange that you are not offered the latest firmware update v17.3.

I have sent a heads up to the customer service so this can be investigated further.

They will be getting in touch with you to offer assistance.

I would suggest you try the recovery mode on the device and see if the latest application gets offered.

However to avoid losing your saved places please back up your device using MyDrive, see the user guide here

We have released a new version v17.301 yesterday, this update should also be available for download to you now.

Correction to my post above...

We indeed released an update v17.301 but that update is only for TomTom WiFi devices having a built-in SIM. Now that you have the firmware v17.300 then it is the latest one for your device.
