Hi, it might be me that's stupid but I can't add a Youtube video link below, I just get a "The file doesn't match our accepted file types.".

The link looks like https://youtu.be/GiTW-BtXpMI

Please advice,

Hi Anders,

Sorry for my late reply!

Unfortunately, the short links don't work. Open it in YouTube and get the full link. You can embed that here on the forum.

Cheers, Mikko

For a video, at the bottom of your post, there is a right arrow button. Click it and insert the url of the video within. Then post and you're asked if you want it in text. Say yes.

Dear Paragon Vanguard!
Thank you. I also don't know how to add a youtobe video link. I have followed your instructions and I have successed. Now, I know how to add a link. It is really simple.
If you have a YouTube short link, such as:

http://youtu.be/

...all you need to do is replace the initial part of the URL (everything except the video ID) as follows:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=

That said, it would be much more user-friendly if the forum software were updated to accept short links.
