Hello I have a Carminat TomTom and purchased a map of Europe. I have a 4GB SD card which should be more than enough to install at least 2 of the 5 map zones, but TomTom Home only allows me to choose 1 at a time.

Is there a way around this restriction? For example, would it help if I had an SD card large enough to hold all 5 map zones? Can I clone a few SD cards and install a different zone in each using TomTom Home?

I know there has been lots posed on this subject, but it's still not clear if the limiting factor is the size of the SD card (which I can change) or the internal memory of the TomTom device.

Thanks for your help.

I think that your best bet is to have several SD cards each with a different zone.
Use your computer to make a full copy of your original SD card (including system and hidden files) to a new directory on your computer, then copy that to each of the other cards, then update the map zone on each card using TomTom Home.
