Question: No Maps Founds - Renault Clio

My in built Tom Tom on Renault Clio, has suddenly decided it has no maps found.  I have read on other forums about updating the card, but I am not sure what I can do with the card.  persumably some computers have the ability to take a memory card,  but none of ours do.   I have talked to many other car owners with in built sat navs and they all say they have never had to download anything to the satnav.   So how can I get my sat nav to work?

    Hi vichudds,

    Welcome to the forum!

    You do need an SD card reader for your computer to be able to update/restore your device. They are available as accessories at most electonic retailers. There's one also available at our webshop at http://www.tomtom.com/en_gb/products/accessories/maps-and-sd-cards/carminat-tomtom-sd-card-reader-9ME0.001.01/

    As you haven't updated your device before I would join Zsolt in advicing you to contact Customer Service for further assistance.
